Telemarketing for solar panels. Most likely from India going through a local number trying to look like they are ringing from Australia.
I hung up within half a second after I was asked " Do you have solar Panels" Most likely they have various clients and it may be solar panels one day and tax minimisation scams the next.
I blame the telcos for all this. They could easily stop all this quite easily. They have technology but they refuse to because they make money out of these Spam/Scams

Caller: "Solar Rebate program"

Solar rebate program employee called me on this number and wanted to talk about electricity bills. He said I am aware that I own a home in VIC yet I am not a home owner. Sounds really scammy; be careful. When I told him if he has my email already, send me something via email, he became extremely pushy and said I can ask for a call back to speak with an 'expert' or I can meet them in person lmao. I obviously declined. If anyone finds out company name, leave a complaint.

first for awhile however seems like they are cranking again. recorded voice blah blah then asking me to press 9 on my phone to opt out of future calls. No chance, your blocked DH!

Scam - said they were calling from the Government and that they understand I have a home in Victoria (I live in NSW and I don’t have a home)

got 2 calls from this number half an hour apart 1st time i answered no body there 2nd time no one there then a male voice said hello then hung up , i blocked the nnumber

tired of this number ringing-cuts out after 4 rings and never leaves a message so I don't ring back!

I answered call. They asked to speak to me by name and when I asked who was calling they hung up.

My mobile rang at 8pm on 24/9/20. I didn't answer - no message left.

They want me to press 9 on my phone to opt out of future calls. I wonder what would happen if I did that? I blocked the number of course.

Received called ,silence on the other end .
when said hello called ended with beep .
