'"Calling from NSW state government regarding Hot water replacement" have called our solar/hw water installation business three times today.

Receiving these same calls from the same numbers and same suggested company at the start of February 2024.

Called me twice now. Hangs up after 3 seconds. I answered it for Shiz and giggles but because I don't say anything they hang up on me!!!!

claiming to be from the NSW gov installing new light globes for free. BLOCK.

I didnt answer because I didnt recognise the number. They didnt leave a message and called another 8 times throughout the day without leaving a message. I thought if it was important they could leave a message. After looking up reverse australia Im glad I didnt answer, I reported as spam on my phone but dont know if that can help stop scammers.Thank you to this website and contributors for the information shared.

Caller: Said her name was Julie

Heavily accented women said her name was juwee. Started rabbiting on about replacement led lights very obvious it's a scam . They have been ringing several times a day for days . Told her never to ring this number again you scammer !

Answered then they hung up . Dodgy!

Indian accent female one day, male the next, about 12:30 in the afternoon, calling about replacing LED light bulbs to save energy and asking odd questions re: how many light bulbs in the house..

First called Saturday night. Male with Indian accent wanting to give us free LEDs, stated this is a state Government initiative to help with cost of electricity. Told him no thanks, he then said they could supply spot lights. Again declined & hung up. Monday received 5 calls between 6.20 & 8.30, left the answering machine on & they didn't leave a message, just hung up. This is a scam & NOT from the Government. Very frustrating getting all these calls, especially at night.

Rang twice and hung up... blocked the number.

They hang up. Have call several times over last couple of days. Very annoying & disruptive.

Calling over 5 times in afternoon

Repeated calls to our business landline and mobile. No message left.

I received a call from this number which showed in my caller ID as The IT Consulting Co I don't answer calls from unknown callers. No message was left. After searching the number I can see it is a scam.

6 calls today with no message

Rang six or seven times in one day, total harassment and very frustrating, get a life loser 🤬

SCAM 6.45pm. Said his name was JAMES (an east Indian accent). Did not identify his Company. Said "we are replacing all light globes with LED free of charge".

A-holes keep calling and hanging up when I answer. As this is a business line they keep calling I have to answer.

this number (02) 8317 - with variation of 1162, 1167, 1169, 1164, 1168 - called 5 times in one afternoon 14/08/23. Wasn't home that day. No voicemail but just logged on my home phone. Obviously they have the set of numbers! So very much a scam and very unwanted!

Keeps calling but will not leave a message.
