Cold call from http://123investment.com.au/

Never answer this phone. They are the scammers trying to get you into buy bitcoins.

I was contacted on my mobile number from 02 - 8317 1108 (there are no results found for this no. on reverseaustralia) There were a few missed calls previous 2 days, but no message was left on voicemail. The phone line was bad, and he kept interrupting me with what was obviously a prepared 'script'
This man knew my first name, and at first claimed I had signed up to be contacted for a new way to make some extra income. He then changed his story and said a 'friend' of mine had recommended me. When I started to question the circumstances and try to get more details he hung up.
I called the number - there was a recorded message with American accent, when a real person answer, he again said he was an account manager with a Trading Company. He 1st claimed that when I online shop all my details are captured, he then changed his story to say I clicked on a pop-up ad (which I never do), and finally changed his story back to the original one that I requested they called and gave them my details. He was disgustingly rude and claimed I had clicked and asked to be contacted. He refused to answer my questions, was patronising, spoke over the top of me refusing to answer my questions and behaved in a disgusting manner.
DONT under any circumstances answer these calls. And be warned, I made an online purchase from a UK business (previously with an outlet in Australia) - the only question the person answered was that the company he was representing was in the UK, though he definitely didn't have a British accent. , and I didn't believe him anyway.
These are despicable people, who laugh in your face and treat you like an idiot. Ignore at all costs.
