Caller: Received 1:24pm Sat 7/2/23 Female with an Indian accent spoke extremely rapidly and ran all her words together. I politely said, "I am sorry but I didn't understand a word of that; could you please repeat it more slowly".
She then spoke at a more normal pave and simply asked "ma'am, do you speak English?"
Obviously I did. I had just spoken English. Maybe she thought I was having a go about her accent. Maybe a few people had already today. Her accent was not a problem for me. Her speed was. I ask my own family to slow down when they talk at her pace. Incan't decipher the words in any accent!
"Yes" I responded, calmly, ignoring the apparent jibe.
She hung up.
I called back the number. It's a one way number - outbound only.
Possibly a scam to record an affirmative "yes".
