Caller: scammer or charity

Number immediately redirects - We are sorry your call cannot be completed at this time after 5 rings - suss - probably scammer or charity - nuisance

The third number with the same initial seven digits to call my landline, previously ending in 040, then 169 and now 028. Blocking one number leaves it wide open for other sequential numbers to still call through.

When will these idiots give up - another scammer, another blocked number 😡😡

I blocked (02) numbers, interstate, a long time ago, but keep getting attempted calls from numbers such as this one.
For those who answer calls from likely scammers, if they claim to be a charity but clearly aren't - "Charity Choice", "Charity Prime" and the like are relentless, hounding scammers - the calls can be reported to Scamwatch as being from fake charities. Otherwise it's best not to answer any calls from unknown numbers.

Get regular calls from this “my charity survey ” with slightly different numbers. Same recorded message from same woman. Keep blocking to no avail.

I was driving so I couldn't answer. It came up as a suspect scam
