Wanting to know how many mobile phones I have with my business.

It sounded like a scammer, enquiring about business phones in our company. ...Time waster.

Scam, if this number called you, your mobile numbers is likely the target of a 'man in the middle attack'. You don't want someone listening to your calls and intercepting them do you! Well the Australian Government, ACMA and in QLD the police service think business practice is acceptable and fair game. Beware!

It sounded like a scammer, enquiring about business phones in our company. and then ask for my personal information.

Caller: BBC

I was advised this Indian sounding caller was from 'BBC' and looking to speak with the person who looks after the phone account. There was a massive lag in the conversation, can tell it is overseas scam.

Said they were phone a phone company wanting to talk to business owner, I said I was the business owner and they said. Good, thank you can I speak to the business owner. I said again I was the business owner and he said ok, we will be in your area next week and will call in and see you. Told them not changing phone companies as only Telstra works at our house.

Got as far as asking me if I was the owner of the business, then I hung up. I don't have time for this I have trees to paint.

asking to speak to a person who handles mobile phones, the call was very noisy and the caller had a very strong accent, so all of it seemed suspicious

Claimed to be from Vodafone asking about phones. so either they are incompetent (I'm already with Vodafone) or its a scam.
