sent a text saying a new device had been registered for my banking ap and if it wasnt me to call (02) 8311 1754. I called the number and it had a very quick voicemail saying unavailable at this time (or similar, it was very fast)

I answered the call and was a bored man saying he was calling from NSW about my energy account....i cut him off saying my energy is good and no need to scam me....SCAMMERS!!

I am in Perth, this is a NSW number. Got a call from this number and it went to message bank as I didn't answer it. They hung up after 1.3seconds. I called that number back twice and each time I get the standard message from a guy that sounds either very bored or very hungover. Which goes like this: "Unfortunately we cannot connect your call at this time. Please try again later". I suspect it is scammers from the company called 500 Investments who have been hassling me for many months. They call from a great variety of numbers, it seems never the same number twice.

I called back number (02) 8311 1754 rang once then goes to busy tone.

Same CBANK scam here too

Scammers saying it's the Commonwealth bank telling me to call a number urgently and quote a Ref# as someone has tried to use my account to purchase a B&B room for $950

I received a text referring to a case no. transaction to Air BnB. If this was not you call this number.
I did not call or text back after reading these comments, thank you

Similar experiences to above. I’ve had lots of weird calls lately, it’s a bloody pest. Usually mobile call from Australia, I let if go to vm but they don’t leave a message. Shortly thereafter a land line call comes in, I answer the call but don’t say anything, they hang up 🥱 obviously a scam

they don't leave a message, so I don't cal back. Looking at the previous comments they are probably worth blocking.

I answered a call from this number. No one spoke or left a message or rang back, so I blocked it.

Just keeps calling over and over again. Finally rang it back, just to see, and it just rang out. Blocked.

I received this call to my land line at least 4 or 5 times a day. is there anyway that I can block this number . or do I have to disconnect my land line completely to avoid these ?

keeps calling the land line then hangs up when I answer or goes through to the answering machine. When I dial back it rings out.
Obviously and scam number or wanting to talk to a specific nationality.

We have been receiving a _lot_ of calls from this number (3 times today already).
We let it go to our machine, and it's always hung up before a message is recorded.

I got a call and as soon as I answered it I was hung up on. I called the number back but it rang for over a minute then a recorded message saying "the number is not answering" and hung up.
