Danger! Tax Scammer Alert! The criminal bastards gave me this number to ring them back after they tried to extort $5,013 from me after claiming they were from the Australian Taxation Office and had done an audit on me that concluded that I was guilty of criminal tax evasion and I had one hour to pay the money or I would be facing criminal charges in court and that I would be arrested.

Called me too, I keep ringing back trying to order Indian takeaway food if you ask for extra pappadams they get the craps, I find it amusing!

Had two calls, scared the crap out of me. Tried to call back but couldn't get through. One message said to call Ron Watson back....

Yeah, I had the Stephen Hawking voice leave a message on my answer machine too. They said they were calling tom the Legal Dept of the ATO and had received a taxation claim against me (didn't say my name though) and that I should call Ron Watson back on this number before I get arrested.

SCAM caller!! Just spoke to tax office to confirm. Ron Watson is back trying to scam money. Also had a call from dept. public prosecution supporting the Scam call

Yep ! they left a message on my phone telling me I would be arrested if I didn't ring them back and I had committed tax fraud.

Same message as Mr Treacle charges against me about 6 and I haven't worked for years

Yep, definitely a tax scam. If you get a call like this, ring the ATO on their main number. Never reply to the number they give you.

Automated message in an American accent stating that I needed to call this number as there was a petition against my name for tax fraud and a warrant out for my arrest. So much nope. Don't believe them.

Yes I had a call from the same number today from a man who said his name was Ron Watson and that he was from the ATO, I called the ATO today and they confirmed that that 02 number is not registered with the Australian Taxation Office.

I also received a call claiming they were from the Australian Taxation Office and had done an Audit on me and I was guilty of Criminal Tax Evasion. I couldn't understand them properly and when I asked to speak to someone who could speak English as I believed it to be a scam they hung up.

Just received a recorded message from this number telling me to return their call before a claim goes to the federal claims courthouse or I am arrested. Bit of online research and I see its a scam. Don't fall for it.

I got a call from them today saying they were from the Tax Office and that I owed them money. They asked whether I had an "attorney" and when I told them of course I did, they hung up.
