This number was unknown to me. They didn't leave a message. I'm suspicious as not expecting any interstate calls. If caller doesn't leave me a message then I don't bother to call them back.

Recorded message: Nicole from the Australian NBN threatening to disconnect my landline service as NBN is now available in my area.
Had 3 identical messages today from 3 different NSW/ACT landline numbers.

Random call. Immediately called back but reached a bit which said ‘line is not in use’. Probably scam

Claimed to be from an electrical company and they are doing work for NSW government in relation to the LED lighting scheme.

Call centre agent said they were from Amazon Prime, that my subscription was being automatically renewed (I don't have a subscription) and wanted to know if I wanted to cancel it. If I did I had to complete a form ... Sounds like a scam to me.

Pretends to be NBN. Starts with a recorded message. Hung up on me when I didn’t play along. I blocked the number.

Indian woman said she was from an nbn company. Tried to get me to download a Remote Desktop app to gain access to my device. When I told her I knew she was trying to scam me she swore at me and called me an a**hole.
