Yes I had this exact thing from this number. I hung up after saying that I was not interested in the slightest

Caller: Indian accented male called claiming to be from NBN advising I was not getting a good reception and were updating NBN connection. Stated my name and address and asked me to check how many lights were flashing on my modem. Asked for his ID and when I advised I would not touch my computer until he was confirmed NBN and he then hung up.
