This is a scam phone number. I went to citibank branch, and citibank said they do NOT use this 02- 8288 2296 phone number.

Legit phone number from Citibank (they are the ones that underwrite a number of Visa / Mastercard brands ).

I lost my Virgin Money card and put a hold on it. They were calling to follow the status and check whether I needed to cancel the card and issue a new one.

called back number (02) 8288 2296 - went straight to voice mail which stated the number was temporarily out of order. Don't have any cards or accounts with Citi. Don't know wtf is going on...????... Sounds like someone looking for a sucker to sell something to...

They do use this number. I called boq credit cards which is Citibank. As a security measure she had to call me back. This was the number they used .

This was a genuine call - notwithstanding the accent was hard to understand. My virgin card had been (unbeknownst to me) left behind in a shop and they kindly reported it to Virgin who cancelled it. The caller asked me to call Virgin as they had important information about my card. Good outcome - got all my papers back

I received a message about my Boq visa stating I had a charge that was made so I called them put through the ringer for security then they would call back on the number above wanted more information all they needed to do was just tell me what and who tried to charge my credit card very worried at the amount of information they wanted and how long it took to get them to give out the information I was asking for now I am Boq customer why according to the above details is Citi bank tied to Boq I think this information grab is unacceptable

I received the call from this number and it was from Nab/Citibabnk. A real call they were just following up obn a new digital offer they have. I rang Citibank 132484 and it was confirmed a real call. Nab now own Citibank.

THIS WAS A SCAM. Said they were from NAB but calling about my recent activation of BOQ credit card, offering extra deals etc. Hung up when I wouldn't give any personal details.

2nd call today even after calling Virgin Credit card. Has put on my file not to call and have reported number as spam & blocked.

Call was genuine. Mentioned my Virgin Credit card. Called Virgin and the checked and stated Citi Bank is the issuer of the Virgin Credit cards and was a call about a special deal I could take

called back this number (02) 8288 2296 and the lady said theyre from Citibank
