Strangely wasn't able to return the call I'd missed from this number. Just drops out so I presume it is spam.

Same experience as others. Appears to be fast automatic dialing of numbers, so on first answering, there's a dead silence until caller gets a sign that number has been answered, presumably checks for a name listed against the number, and comes on line. The usual background noise then suggests it's a call centre operation... You can often hear other single-sided conversations..
Recently had similar when I changed my Telstra phone plan. Within two hours of that change, had scammers looking for personal ID information. Since that had 14 calls in 24 hours. As soon as I indicate annoyance or resistance (what number are you calling from?), immediate hang up. That one comes from unidentified number.

YES, these guys have called me but I HAVE NEVER SPOKEN TO THEM. They seem to hang up before I can answer my mobile. When I try to phone the number back it is constantly engaged. Very sus.

Called my mobile number saying they renewed my order for viagra, I have never ordered Viagra. Beware of this person.
