Picked up and got the silence treatment followed by a recorded "Goodbye!"

Scammer, prankster, or looter checking to see if anyone was at home?

Telemarketing. Saved number in contacts so I can identify when they ring again ... and ignore.

Have had this call twice. I answered with my name but only heard a rustling sound and then silence. Thought it was probably a thief checking if I was home.

Selling solar hot water systems - very pushy, Indian accent. They never give up.

Usual telemarketing stuff - you pick up the phone, then there is a long delay - then a foreign voice - They say they are phone regarding Fed Govt solar rebate - but don't mention who they actually work for! Then try to sell you solar power.

Very noisy at other end with lots of people talking in the background - obviously a call centre. The girl said 'this is Angela? (hard to hear her name) and I am calling about the Federal Government'.... the rest was not possible to hear. Then she hung up.
