Caller: Claimed it was AGL AGL does not use landlines, only 13 hundred numbers...I called back and lady said haltingly "Hello...pause...AGL". I was immediately on guard. She asked for my personal details and I declined. I said I'd give her my account number, which I did, then she still asked for my address. I said if you can access my account, you know my address, so you tell me what it is, then I'll know you're genuine. She hedged around that, so I terminated the call. I contacted AGL through their website on live chat and they confirmed they don't use landlines. I asked them to investigate the number

sends text messages that look like automatic missed call messages, but they never actually rang. looks like a scam to get you to phone them back. have been doing this multiple times a day for a few days now, and today they have started actually calling but I guess they only let it ring for a split second then hang up, because it tells me i've missed a call in my phone log, but it never actually rang

Caller: AGL This is incorrect information. I received a call from this number which was 100% legitimate AGL. I had moved out and forgot to disconnect my electricity. New owners had organised new connection which triggered AGL to disconnect mine. I didn’t take the call but called back and had to give my details. The operator was helpful.

Keep calling & hang up when I answered. I think it's a scam. I called back from Landline, spoke with a lady. She saw my called from a landline. then stutter to answer as it's not expected a call from a landline & I think it's not genuine.

Rang me 3x on different days and only says the call is coming from Sydney. I don't trust answering it cause doesn't indicate a business name and scams are all around
