Caller: Agl collection team

Agl collection team , hassling everyone to pay there bills up before Christmas , I owe $165.97 , Overdue by 2 wks , there calling 5x a day , told them I’d pay next pay day , pushed to have direct payment tacked from my account , I hung up, I gather there must be commissions on getting bills paid this year. Not verry good AGL to hastle customers for small amounts of money right before Christmas

Constantly calling and they never leave a message. When you call back there is no answer. Previous posts have stated this is AGL. If this is that company, not leaving a message is not good customer service.

No response when I answered. Called twice today

Caller: A.G.L Electricity bill debt collectors carrying on over a bill that’s eight days late

A.G.L never used to contact you by phone unless you were months and months in arrears, now literally after seven or eight days someone from AGL contact you every day or every second day 2 to 3 times a day over $200 bill that’s six days late. It’s just ridiculous.

Same with me. I think it's a scam

Claims to be AGL - asked me to prove my identity. I replied but you called me so you must have my details. I refused to provide details. He got angry and yelled well I can’t guarantee you supply. Spoke to AGL and there was no issue with my account and no call record attached to my account. Be careful.

Called my but asked for my identification details. The person didn't seem to be AGL at all, not professional, so I didn't give any details. I said I will call AGL call centre directly.
This is definitely SCAMMERS.

Yes, they did the exact say to me too.
The guy spoke 100 miles an hour and could not understand what he was saying until the end, when I asked him to talk slower .
Told him I’d pay that night and he kept insisting he deduct the money out of my account now.
I too hung up.

Pain in the arse for $45.00 geesh give me a break!

Claimed to be AGL but was not the number they usually call from so I did provide any personal information, even though they were very persistent. Beware, possible scammers.

Wanted my banking info, I told them I would pay my bill the same way as always and I never give banking info over the phone.

This is AGL collection team. They start their harassment programme very early on for payment. They do not follow debt collection laws in Australia and just run their own race.

Called while I was in a meeting. Tried calling back but there was no answer.

Called twice today. I missed the first call because I was at work. Answered the 2nd call, but they hung up straight away.

Did not take call as the number was not recognised but called back and phone just rang out with no one answering.
