Caller: Person claimed to be 'Alex Morris' from Energy Australia Cold call re installation of solar panels with 40% govt rebate. Would be free as energy savings taken from Energy Aus bills (about $80-120 per month, paid over 4-5 years). Called Energy Australia (EA) to verify if genuine. EA indicated they use a third party called Eco Energy for solar BUT Eco Energy must first receive a referral from them. As I am not with EA and did not request a consultation for solar energy, the call from 'Alex Morris' is 100% a scam.
