Received a call from overseas spoke to the person but instead of the usual Unavailable showing on my caller ID the number (02) 8212 3300 showed. After finishing the conversation couldnt hang up it was as if there was someone on the other end, the phone rang twice no one there. Got a dialling tone 5 mins after ending conversation

like jp, my home phone (amnet voip, perth) occasionally identifies itself as this number.  it normally identifies itself correctly (08 94xx xxxx).

missed call from this number, message was a recording of a woman's voice inviting me to join a competition to name the current prime minister by pressing 1 for John Howard and 2 for Kevin Rudd. Hung up before it went further.I have two phones, the dodgy call went to my Telstra phone and not my Optus one.

i got a call from the same number, but this just after my mum was calling me, she left a msg and i guess something happend their, it was weird tho
