Thank god for this blog... My private work phone number was getting calls from Fax numbers (02) 8208 6500 and (02) 8003 6300 ...I Just came back from holidays today and had to sit through 13 messages of beeping so I could delete them... I called 1800 720 721 and the very helpfull woman put a block on my land-line number so I sholdn't get any more fax calls from "Premier Global Services".

I had the same problem - Have been recieving phone calls about once a fortnight for the past year. I rang the 1800 above. He told me he is from EasyLink telecommunications. They provide faxing and telemarketing services for companies workwide. The Ireland office was managing my query. They have added the numebrs to the block list. (I hope it is anyway). I'll add another post here if it happens again!

Joan and all who read this forum. Call 1800 720 721 and ask them to block your number. It's a marketing company that has a rollout fax line that picks up numbers and keeps calling. I called the above phone number (thank you Christine) and they have removed/blocked my number.

Called the 1800 number and they say they have checked and it is not one of their numbers.

We have been getting loads of calls into our direct lines from this fax machine for ages. So glad I found this forum. I have rang them on the 1800 720 721 and they said they would block. Good!

This number faxing me twice a day every day is getting pretty close to me pulling a dagger on the sender.

Pain in the butt. They keep calling at bad times.

Hi all and thanks for the advice. I just rang the number and "Vick" told me that our land line number has been "blocked" from future calls. Fingers crossed that they stop!

The 1800 answer message said Easy Link Client Support (may be spelled differently)I called this number a few weeks ago and the fax calls started up again today....so i called back again and they assured me my number was suppressed... lets hope it actually works this time.

Today is 1st December and I have received two calls from this number - one at 2.03pm and 2.13pm and both gave fax screams.  Who is it and how can I stop them.

I received a call from (02) 8208 6500 this morning at 10:50am.  When I answered it, it sounded like a fax tone.  20 minutes before that I had the same thing from a different number (02) 8003 6300.

Thanks Sarah, I called the 1800 number and it is a company called easylink, which connects fax messages to businesses.  They just block our number from their company database, which isn't a problem because it's a normal call line anyway and not a fax number.
