My phone rang today at 1305 hrs and as i was nearby, I immediately answered only to discover that I had been placed on hold,with moronic recorded message from some guy with an abysmal American accent.His message told me that "'we' know how important your time is and although there might be a short delay in answering your call, it is very important to us and we want to speak with you personally. We will be with you briefly". This was followed almost immediately by another recorded message this time from a female with an equally abysmal American accent. She told me a different but equally moronic and insulting message and assured me that all of their customers receive the same personal service and 'my call' would be answered shortly. I was doing other things so I had the phone on speaker because i was intrigued to find out what organization could be so incompetent in their search for new customers. The 2 recorded messages were replayed constantly with a pause of about 8 seconds between each. This went on for 25 minutes until young sounding man came on the phone to talk to me. He had an extremely heavy accent and I had to get him to spell out all the words that he spoke to me. By and large I did all the talking and asked him a sequence of questions. What was the company name? A. Astron. Where was the company? A.1/3 Victoria Ave Chatswood (Sydney). What was the company involved in? A. Telecommunications. I then told him what had happened with the call and that I could noty believe that any company could attempt to conduct its business in such an incompetent (and probably unlawful) manner. I told him that I would make a formal complaint and intended to take up the matter with the appropriate authorities. He hung up.

Tony you're a bloody beauty! I will be harrasing that number as much as they do me... idiots!

they are not a scam I use them for my nbn connection they are pretty cheap actually.

The number was answered by a foreign sounding female and she said I must have been called by their telemarketing group.
I wish they would understand some people sleep in the day and have answering machines for this purpose. Anyway now that I know - they will never be able to get a sale out of me.
The number has been blocked from my phone...

I have been getting calls from these people 2 & 3 times a day for more than a month. I resent having to have a customer wait while I answer a call and then they hang up.
On the occassions when they do answer they will not listen when told I do not wish to deal with them. Today I actually hung up on them.

I have been getting calls from this number several times a day for the last week. I never answer (thank you, CND) but it is very irritating.

These guys are harrasing me, they wont give me a break, they keep on calling and never stop

thank god for this website!! i am a receptionist and love this site!  just had a call from these people asking for our email address.. Before I gave them the whole address, I noticed from all you lovely people they spam.  So I quickly changed the ending of the email. phew! They also said they were Astron.  When asked how many lines we have and I said I dont feel I need to share that. I was told. Can you just say one or two lines in the office.  No I can not.  Good day.

These people have called me 5 times today.  I asked to speak to the supervisor and a gentleman came on saying he is the senior supervisor.  I told him theyve called me 5 times already this morning and he hung up on me.

too calls over two days, very aggressive, indian accent! just hung up.isnt there anyone who can shut these scammers down

I have ask the people who call from this number to remove my number from there list but they keep calling. The last time they called they were very rude in asking me "why"  Someone needs to handle this ASAP
