This is a tax scam. Do not fall for this crap. It’s a recorded message that is trying to screw you over, I suggest you hang up straight away

They claim to be the ATO (I believe), saying there a a warrant for my arrest. Asks to press 2 for more information and if you don't you will be arrested.

Yep, they left a (automated voice) voicemail with the same sort of info that my TFN has been used for fraudulent activities.

Tax scam - Claiming to be ATO

Same Tax scam as above report: They claim to be from the tax department saying I have made a fraudulent tax claim. Etc.

The caller claimed that the Australian Taxation Office had put a lien on my tax refund for fraudulent claims and I was about to be arrested. Demanded that I call them back on the same number or else my Tax File Number would be disabled and repeating I would be arrested.

Vocabulary seemed rather American although voice had a robotic feel - not sure if robocall or just a voice distorter being used. When I answered "Hello scammer, I'm about to report you" the voice said "Goodbye" and then hung up.
