Just got a call from this number 5 minutes ago on my mobile - something about winning a $60 voucher, I always hang up whenever I hear a recorded voice anyway. It really annoys me when they call my home line.
Googled it and found this site, cheers for all the info.
Hate these sort of things, especially when they can suck in people that don't know any better.

Got a call from this number with the same blurb as above 3 days ago. Pressed 6 because I didn't see the harm in it. Now today they text me to say I've entered into their weekly competition at $6.60 a week. Go to wizquiz.com.au to see what it is all about. Is this legal? Can they legitimately take money out of a persons's account just because they answered a call an pressed 6. Does not seem right. A good scam though. These guys must be making a fortune.

I will always look up an unfamiliar (missed call) number. And thanks to this site, am relieved to know my instincts were right too. "If in doubt- throw out!"

Yer i got a missed call from this number , why dont they just track down who it is and do something about it ! ?

I was busy when they called, so I rejected the initial call from that number, and since then I've tried calling back many times. The start of their recorded message is cut off, as if they meant to tell you who they are but just messed up their message.. so sneaky! I checked my phone balance, and I don't think it really went down significantly.. but I could be wrong.. Dodgy dodgy people. Thanks for this site! great to have confirmation that it wasn't an important call I missed.. though it's a pity to know there are dishonest people out there messing with people..
