Very suspicious phone call from a female with an accent. said she was with credit Corp and I had an outstanding payment for a phone company I’ve never used.
She asked for my date of birth, address and email address to confirm my identity
(Which I gave). Can someone pls tell me -if this is a scam- can anything be done with those details?

Phoned my unlisted private land line asked for a relative by name ... Female caller had an accent & she Alleged it was in reference to a previous known acquaintance & named that person I then inquired who they were & where they were from & they wouldn't disclose that saying it was breach of privacy & left this phone number. The relative they originally asked to speak to called this number back & when that relative also inquired as to where were they from & what exactly did they want they went all weird and wouldn't disclose anything & again quoted unable to disclose due to privacy regulations so phone call was terminated

Left a dodgy note on my door telling me to call this number back. I called it and asked who they were. They wouldnt tell me, said they were protecting my privacy. They went all wierd when I said I was going to the police as they had trespassed.
