Time Wasting telemarketer

SCAM!!! - trying to get company / personal details. I tell them, (if they talk) they have the wrong number so they hang up.

Also receiving calls that hang up without a word

Extremely unprofessional and annoying telemarketer

I keep receiving calls from this number and it appears to be another communications company trying to get your business. I don't know how many times I request them not to call - they still do. We have been on the do not call register for years and re-listed 5 months ago. Infuriating.

They phone, say nothing then heavy breathing and (woman's) laughter. Sometimes background chatter. Surely illegal, a disgrace that it is allowed to happen.

Simple, store all these numbers in your phone when the ID shows on your phone pick up a dog whistle answer and immediately blow as hard as you can, a horn would work as well.

Keeps calling work and hangs up before you can finish speaking - getting really annoying!

This number calls our business every day some times two or three times! Very rude, arrogant and annoying.We have been polite up to now - now we just hang up on them!

Yep they don't want to talk! I love being able to make free calls but there are times when I wonder if we would have less nuisance calls if everyone had to pay for each call they make!!!

These guys really annoy me. Hang up after you run to answer the phone. If someone can find them, please cut their phone lines!

And so the calls from this number begin again..... Call and hang up after a few seconds. I can hear people talking....

This number has started to call the office again. Hangs up when you answer. Annoying.

I am receiving calls from (02) 8188 9185 to my landline on a regular basis and periodically to my mobile. Most times the caller does not say a word for a few seconds then hangs up. The latest was at 16:38 on Thursday 19 February 2014. Some arrogant aggressive fellow called Jay with what sounds like an Indian or Phillippino with a marked american accent. Supposedly representing 'Telco' asking about my experience with Telstra landline, service cost etc. When I told him I am exceedingly happy with Telstra he turned nasty. abusive. Refused to give up. I usually give short shrift to these unsolicited calls. But I wanted to find out more. Which government department allocates these vermin the number? Can they be stopped?
