Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the company, I think it was two words beginning with S. The caller claims to represent an "academic" organisation that has a share trading system and will set you up with a mentor and automatic trading software once you open an account for $100US. They quickly get to "how would you like to activate your account?" without even asking if you want one. According to the caller, the company is registered in London but quotes US dollar amounts and is registered in Australia to provide financial services. When I said I wasn't interested he got quite pushy and argumentative.
