I was trying to hook up a Canon printer to my computer I got a critical msg on the computer next minute a guy rang me said he was from Canon, he wanted to help me with the issue, he fixed it virtually, but then told me my 2 month old computer was rubbish and had all these things wrong with it. He could get technical guys to fix it for me, again virtually. I have a 3 year warranty on this computer, he told me the shop I brought it from would not hold up their warranty, it was up to Microsoft to fix the issues..... I said no thanks . I panicked went straight to the shop and they fixed it. Was this dude dodgy? Probably.... be aware.
