Recorded message claims that there is a Court Petition and a Warrant out for your arrest unless you call the number.

Left a message on my phone yesterday to say a warrant had been put out for my arrest. I've had about 6 of these messages in the last 18 months! Reported all to the ATO. If I don't know the number, I don't answer it!

Claimed from ATO asked for my tax file number. I refused. He questioned me why and I told him "how do I know you're not a scam" he quickly replied with call your local ATO office and hung up.

Fake Tax scam get these all the time over 2 years now

Number called back and it just rings out - message left by caller claims to be from ATO and that my account has been suspended due to tax fraud - this is a scam and I have reported it to Scam Watch and ACORN

Recorded message stating my 80yo mother owed tax (tax evasion) and there was a warrant for her arrest and to call this number. A definite scam

Another ATO scam caller

Left message on my answering machine, Said I had a tax debt and was now on the delinquent list I didn't listen to the rest of the message I don't owe any money to the tax dept.
