Got a call from this number. The caller left no voice message.

Attempted to call back, but went straight to a message bank for a marketer used by Insurance companies.

I got missed calls too and no voice msg left..called them back and went straight to an auto msg saying it was AVON...

Getting calls from this number for weeks and no message. Looked it up and found this site. I think I called them back once ages ago and got some recorded message about a marketing company.  Wouldn't surprise me if it was just Telstra harassing me again.

I've been getting calls from this number constantly with no voicemail left. Finally I picked up the other day and it was someone claiming to be from Telstra following up on a recent mobile purchase. He knew my name and asked my date of birth and then strangely went into a very long one sided conversation about his birthday. I got off the call and have been again dodging calls from that number. I called the number back today and got AVON as well. Is this a scam?

Sorry, I made a mistake.  This number was someone calling "from Commonwealth Bank"!  I've been getting calls from two different numbers.  The girl on the phone was asking about some deal she wanted me to take that would save me money.  I said that I wanted no part of it and that I was on the "Don't Call" register.  She asked it I had received the letter regarding what she was taking about.  I said yes and I don't want it (lie).  I got her off the phone and they hasn't called me since.  I'm not sure who's giving my number out but I'm getting calls I don't want and hopefully the "Don't Call" will start working soon.  I only registered at the start of the month.
