i had this number call me about an hour ago and they said they were calling on behalf of childrens foundation and went on abut starving children in africa i let him waffle on and then said well why dont you get in touch will all the african scammers and take their money and they hung up

I got 3 call today. donot know what they want . i did not pick up the phone. getting scared of people asking for donation or insurence.

Just missed a call from this number today. I called back and yes, got the mesaage others above have got re about it beinga contracted call centre.

Have had calls from such places before - late 2009 - and when I did eventually answer it was a woman purporting to be calling on behalf of the Red Cross re my donation and she wanted to check my credit card details. I naturally said told her no and that if the Red Cross wanted any such info from me they could write to me at which she hung up. When I later spoke to the Red Cross they assured me that they do not contract any call centres and would never call asking for such information. So on basis of that experience, calls from these places are best ignored.

I dont tend to answer my phone until I either know who is calling me or I am expecting a call.

3rd call today... which they'd bugger off!

I've been called several times  by this number and as soon as I answer, they hang up!

I called it back and got a recorded message saying, 'you have been contacted by hosted contact centre service and you can be contacted again soon'.

How do I make it stop?

I think its NRMA. Any of you missed your rego, or didn't renew insurance/ roadside assistance?

Got two calls in the last two days.If it's an automated call system, wouldn't it be nice to transfer them a virus?!

My wife got called at least 5 times recently, and she missed all of them. Yes, I did call back and got the same message before I was leaded to here by google. Well, it's time to block this number on the phone now, very annoying and don't know what they can get from making trouble to others.
