robotic voice saying there is a lawsuit against me. Don't have my name, but want to be called back! obvious scam

claimed to be ATO smells fishy

Call went through to message bank, synthesized voice claims to be from the audit department of the ATO and that a lawsuit has been filed against me. I was to return the call as soon as possible and failing to do so would result in an arrest warrant!

Left msg claiming to be from tax office. I call BS! Scam. When is our government going to trace these calls and drop a bag of pain on these scammers. It cannot be that hard surely!

Robotic voice didn’t provide any details, actually the recording was started half way through the spiel, a very unprofessional scammer.

ATO Lawsuit - SCAM!!

Caller: Scammer, I believe. Just letting people know that if they get this number, do not pick up.

A message was put on my phone "This call is from IT Department of Australian Taxation Office. The reason behind call."
I get calls from people saying they are from IT Dept. of Telstra quite often. I have sometimes have three calls in the one day. We get at least one call per week from them, but as I said, they can sometimes be persistent.

Caller: Scammer saying they are from the ATO

Automated message saying they are from the ATO and there is a law suit against me and if i don't reply I will have an arrest warrant against me and I will be arrested

Caller: Robo-scam-machine

Recorded call in bad robotic English saying they were from the ATO auditors and would put out an arrest warrant on me if I didn't call them back. I'll take my changes.

Caller: Unidentified organisation

A digital voice advised that legal proceedings had started and that I should call the number back. I hung up before the message ended. I'd suggest its a scam.
