I received a call on my landline from someone called Peter Evans (with a strong Asian accent).
He told me my internet was going to be shut down tomorrow by Telstra due to virus problems.
I told him i was not with Telstra.
He wanted me to get on line so he could show me the problem.
I told him my landline phone was a distance from my computer, so I couldn't chat and view computer at same time.
He asked me for my mobile number so he could talk to me while he showed me the problem on the internet.
I asked to speak to supervisor (another person with strong accent) and asked him to give me some details..."whats my name?"...he got it wrong.
Just phoned my provider and its all a scam.
