she said she was calling from microsoft in sydney had indian accent telling me i had corrupt files on my computer and i have a DELL computer which i dont  i asked to speak to someone else she put on to the supervisor which he also had indian accentthey wanted on line acces to fix my computeri asked for the phone number and office in sydney he said Chatswood (02) 8091 5005 working hours from 1.00pm to 10.00pm very strange and his name he said is MAX DAWSON good indian name hey?to everyone out there you do not need to give access on line for repairs to corrupt fileshope this helpsi will try and report this the proper authorities.

Same experience as others. Asian lady asking for me to access certain files on my computer as there are virus about to attack my computer. She said she was calling from windows service centre (Doesn't exist). Do not follow their instructions as windows is a product not a company.

My mother received a call from an indian person telling her that she had corrupt files on her computer and to do the same as the above callers.  She gave this telephone number.Luckily my mother did not believe the person right from the start, and we are reporting it to authorities.

Just had a similar call.  I also had a call about a month ago and told the Indian sounding man that I no longer had a computer and he put the phone down on me.   Then about 15 minutes ago somebody phoned and wanted me to sit at my computer so he could explain why my files were being corrupted. I said I was busy but he pushed me for a time when I would be available.   I said Saturday PM but reading the other comments, I'll start to question him instead of the other way round.

Anyone that can give address details for this SCAM group  would be great. I live close so I will be able to fix the problem

Just had same call as above. Unfortunately a guy called Mick with Indian accent, based in manchester, spoke to my son as I was out and my son spent 20 mins on the phone. luckily he couldn't answer all their questions so 'Mick' phoned again. Exactly the same process as above. he said he was a microsoft employee and he would transfer me to Windows engineer. They wanted to remote log in to my computer....DODGY!!!! DO NOT LET THEM IN!
