I think this is a auto dialer as calls disconect as soon as they are answered. It is a way telemarketers check for active phone numbers. If the call is answered they maintain the called numbers on the database

Just got a call from this number and the American accent on the end of the other line told me I need to be concerned that ghost dialed number for him

Sounded like a phone room, lots of voices in the background, my voice echoed a bit.

He dialed a business too so if he calls back I'll have lots of fun with my ghost

They called in the middle of the night. No one there. Annoying!

Tries to sell scam products, calls seem to originate from India, poor quality lines and echoes.

Nuisance telemarketing caller - when you ring the number back, a recorded message advise you cannot be connected.

Answered call on work phone and caller hung up straight away. Tried calling back, it rang once and then I got a hang up tone.
