Caller: "HiPages" Pretending to be HiPages, smelt off from the beginning, they knew when my subscription was ending and said they were going to close my account and issue a refund for the "credited" amount which was the 6 months subscribed... Said I could collect a check from their office in NSW or give them some banking details. Before issuing a refund they needed to verify my account then gave me some gibberish email, of course when I say that's not my email and I'm currently getting invoices from hipages, why would another email account be associated to it, this is clearly a data breach on their side. I asked if they had timestamps of when this email was updated, they said yes and gave me my account creation date. clearly only had surface level info from my hipages account. obviously when they weren't getting anything from me and talking over me constantly they ended up hanging up. Contacted Hipages to confirm if it was some rogue customer retention team member and no, last logged date of contact was last month which is correct, they also confirmed that they do not issue refunds as from what I recall any cancellations of my account prior to the end of my subscription would be paid out in full by me.

Pretending to be hipages calling about the account I have for my business. Had a bunch of missed calls and I professional voicemails. I called back and said I’d missed a call from this number, man on the other end of the call didn’t answer as though it was hipages I had rang. He simply said he would find out who called and have them call me again in a minute. The same woman who left voicemails called me again. I answered this time and when I expressed my dissatisfaction with using hipages and how annoying all their calls were I was instantly hung up on. This is not a legitimate call from HiPages.
