Told me if I didn’t ring back they’d issue an arrest warrant

I got that call yesterday too. Sounded like a robot.

(02) 8061 2498，total scum, automatical reply saying arrest warrant if not call back. Why not policemen arrest the gang first.

Got a call from this number they told me that they were the ATO and if I didn't call them back there's going to be a arrest warrant out for me. So called them back and a Indian answered the phone he asked for my name and address he had trouble trying to spell my address this took all of 10 minutes too do so. I began too get a bit suspicious so I asked him if I could speak too a Australian operator he then hung up the phone

Received the same voicemail message and when I rang back, the male on the line could not hear me and then began to speak to me vulgarly, quote "Where are you, where are you motherf**ker" and I hung up. Do not pick up or ring back.

I received a voicemail from this number that was pre-recorded and said that if I didn't call back they would issue an arrest warrant! Obviously a scam.

Caller: Said called from Australian Taxation Office

Said there is a lawsuit against me, if i don't call back then i will get arrested. weird. Could anyone check if this is a new type of scam?

I ignored the call, and then they left a voice message to say to call them back straight away. Sounded automated and not legit. Blocked the number.

Exactly the same thing happened to me today - an electronically recorded message

Yup got the same one, with robot voice.

Left a voice message saying theyd issue 2 arrest warrants, probably a scam

Caller: TAX SCAMMER

Recorded message stating it was the Australian Tax Office and that an arrest warrant has been issued for my arrest. I had to call the number back.
The old tax scam returns!

Fraudulent call proporting to be from the ATO, call back and they want personal details.

Recorded voice telling me that "if I don't hear from you, I will have to issue an arrest warrant and have you arrested"
