Just received a call from this number to.. just hung on me.. very odd

Stop pranking your customers without leaving a message all in the name of customer service. It's not working. The reason people post your numbers on this site is because they think they are from an untrustworthy source. Is that the message you want to convey to your customers?

I was getting call from (02) 8087 3088 until yesterday and today it is (02) 8083 0100.It is obviously spamming or scamming. I am not with optus or telstra so whoever it is is just cold calling to scam people. It is a real pain in the arse and they should be shut down

I don't think it is Optus as I don't have an optus mobile and I have checked the details of my usage and plan and everything appears okay at this stage.

I've just received a call too from this number. They then hung up on me after 3 seconds. Weird!

I believe its from Optus checking up on your rate plan.  Have you recently changed to Optus?
