Scam call offering phone usage discount

Caller: Said they were Telstra

wanted to send me a code to activate a 14% discount and then asked my date of birth - pretty sure its a scam so said the line was bad and that I would call them back to do this

This number also rang and pretended to be Telstra offering discount on 4 months
Phone bill. But is def a scam. I have reported to telstra

This is a scam pretending to be Optus and wanting full name and date of birth etc.
Do not give them the info - they are trying to get as much detail as they can from you.
Block this number.
I have reported it to Optus
