Apparently they are the RSPCA QLD but the area code is nsw, I wish they would stop calling me.

Called 11 July2011, claimed to be from RSPCA Queensland.  When I questioned about having a NSW phone number on call number display, he hang up. This number regularly rings me, but normally they hang up as soon as I answer. Even if they are a legitimate fundraising arm of RSPCA, they shouldn't misrepresent themselves by saying they are from the RSPCA.

Just got a call from them, but I missed it... (02) would indicate NSW, but then the 8-blah...  That's usually Victoria or South Australia isn't it?
I'm confused.

It is definitely RSPCA's fundraising phone number. I have had several missed calls from them and just called that number back and got the 'This is RSPCA QLD's fundraising raffle...' They are currently fundraising for QLD through their NSW call centre.

yeah got a call from same number...they hung up straight away but could hear office noise in background....not in my interest to call them back though

I get called from them regularly, they hang up on me every time they ring.

yeah i took all my money out of my account to just put 20 in there just incase. but they said they were RSPCA as well.
