I received a fax from this number today purporting to be from Lisa Smith of the Australian Register of Who's Who.  The fax had no ABN/ACN, no telephone number and no website.  I am therefore pretty sure the fax is a scam as it was not addressed to me.  Surely if this mob was for real, they would have discovered my name from their research.  Also, they would have known that I no longer run a business, and have not done so for many years.

I think that what they are really after is (a) information and (b) suckers.

Yes I am in Queensland and have just received the fax as well.  I was a bit sus seeing as I have never registered for any such publication and how would they find out about me!

I googled as well and yes looks very fishy.  If you have been selected to appear 'at no cost' then they would at least know your business name and your first name.
