we get about 5 calls a day from these people asking if we have had a car accident OVER IT

Just had a call from "Anna". Sounded like an O/S (Asian?) call centre. Wanted to know if someone in our house had recently been injured in an accident. She said she was calling on behalf the insurance company but could not identify which when I asked her, nor could she provide a policy number. When asked for her name she got angry saying she'd already told me (hadn't until I asked) and then hung up. When I rang the number back I got a recorded message saying it is invalid or incomplete.

Asked me about an accident I had, when I asked who the call was for, he stated a member of the household??? and then hung up on me when I questioned him further.

SCAM. Fake accident help line. Could hear a room full of Indian callers making calls.

Scam. Starts with the usual: "I'm calling about a car accident you recently had" -"Oh, I did, did I? Can you tell me the details of that accident" -...."No." Beep Beep Beep.

Definite scam. They called themselves the Accident Help line, foreign accent. Trying to talk about an accident. Hang up or don't answer if this number calls you.
Probably foreign number disguised as Sydney number. Why can't the government ban these operators? Scam , Scam Scam.

Another scammer wanting verification for a car accident I had in the past 3 years. I've never had a car accident.
