I rang back the number (02) 8074 3495 once but got disconnected

Called me and I answered, some guy half asleep said he was from Energy Select and asked for the bill payer for energy, I said not here I am away in Perth, pretty much hung up on me. Rang back to return the hang up, but doe not connect. Good suggestion to block

Answered. Was met with silence for a few seconds, a beep and an auomated woman's voice saying "goodbye"

This number called me from Sydney. Im in Melb. It was a mans voice but then they hung up on me. Shrug. Blocked it.

would guess its scam callers coming back to work now that covid restrictions are easing up in workplaces lol

Answered and voice said they were calling about my electricity account.
I hung up and blocked the number

I received a call from this number twice on Friday 16/10/2020 at 4.30pm. I didn't answer, definitely a scam.

Couple of recent calls from this number. Picked it up. Nothing. Tried calling back. No answer. Looked on this Reverse number lookup. Thank you everyone for your helpful comments.

16:50hrs 22/7/20. Silence for 5 seconds then a loud beep then pre-recorded goodbye female voice. Total call duration 12 seconds.

A woman sounded like she was speaking mandarin or another foreign language very loudly and quickly almost as if she was very angry.

answered with hello, waited 5 seconds, said goodbye, womans voice as I hung up.

rang me twice - first time left no message - second time went to voicemail where i heard and Indian voice saying hello
I am in Melbourne so suspected a scam upon first call

Keeps calling back at around the same time every day. By this time I have left work and my phone stays at work.

Very rude Indian accented woman asked my wife if she was aware of the government changes to electricity charges. My wife said she was sure that I was aware and she was then insulted and asked for me to come to the phone. Disconnected the caller and recommend everyone else does the same.

Yes, I had the same thing happen to me today (Friday 3 July 2020 @ 11:19 am)

On my message bank was a male Australian voice, only saying, "Hello". 5 hours earlier I had received a voicemail from (03) 9133 5584 that was identical - so probably a recorded voice.

Said it was about my electricity account and did I know about the new government forced changes from July 1st. I gave the phone to the kids and let them chat away then blocked

Has rang twice and no one talks, hangs up, idiot!
