Scam - Said he was calling from Commonwealth Bank regarding a transaction which occurred 20 minutes earlier from my account. After much debate, I asked him if he was really calling from CBA regarding my account, to verify my account number - to which he replied I can't do that for security reasons! After 5 minutes of banter, I told him I don't have a CBA account to which he replied I should go into my local branch and sort it out with them and hung up!

Scammers. They want id etc. Offering a deal that is too good to be true. And make up stories about why the "special " is not listed on the website.
