I finally answered one of these calls, knowing it would be dodgy. After a few seconds the line clicked dead. Called back and recorded message said "This account is not valid"

Caller: Male with Indian sounding voice Rang me today and told me he was from Telstra and that I had problems with my internet service. As soon as I told him I had no internet service in my name, he hung up! I believe he'd been going to try and get into my computer as he told me had been seeing what I was looking at online!

Caller: "Robert" The man said that his name was Robert, that he was calling from Melbourne on behalf of Telstra to help me stop nuisance/scam callers. He was trying to get my full credit card details. He must have access to most details through online credit card usage. He asked for the expiry date on my credit card to allow him full access to my credit card.
