Do what I do.save the number on your phone and pick up ever time they ring and don’t talk .charge them everytime they ring

I installed an app called True Caller because of the sheer amount of scams and telemarking calls I get on a daily basis. However, these types of calls dropped as I stopped answering calls I didn't recognize, this being before I installed the app. Then I received a text message about a legal inquiry and it was addressed to the first name of my father. So I replied (without thinking) and after this I started to get bombarded with calls from (what the App displayed) is Foxtel, Insurance, Racing Betting, Pet Insurance, and so on. DO NOT REPLY TO TEXT MESSAGES OR EVER PICK UP AN UNRECOGNISED NUMBER. If someone really needs to talk to you they'll leave a message... in my experience scammers and telemarketers won't leave messages but companies you have real accounts with will. And buy an App that'll warn you if the call is a scam etc.

Numerous calls a day. Blocked.

Caller: Insurance Sales

Would love to know where they got my number. Called back & got a recording telling me that I can opt out of future calls by keying in my phone number. Did so. Hopefully that’s the end of multiple calls every day while I’m at work.

Same as others. Regular short ringing. Constant annoyers.

I get several calls a day from this number and other numbers similar. I never answer it, if it’s important they will leave a message, they never do. Sometimes if I’m in the mood I like to ruffle their feathers and play around with them lol

Never anyone there when I answer, sometimes I don't answer, just wait. Background noise sounds suspiciously like a call centre. I have blocked them.
