Same thing is happening to us. Calls the business number and immediatly hangs up. Has been happening several times a day for the last 4 days. Driving me batty!

OMFG!!!!

I have been receiving calls from these jokers for a couple of weeks now.

Every time I answer, there is no one there and then they just hang up.

I've tried ignoring it, answering the calls, yelling down the phone, nothing seems to make them stop calling!!!!

I finally decided today to start recording a log of how many times they call. Today alone, 6 calls. How the hell am I supposed to run a business when I spend half of my day answering or trying to ignore these calls.

I've already registered my home/work land line and both mobile numbers with the 'Do Not Call Register' years ago and I've just done it again today to make sure. Hopefully it will stop all the unwanted calls.

Who the hell do we report them too? Our phone service provider? The ACMA? The Police?

Has any one had any luck in stopping these jokers?

Finally figured out who these clown's are.

They contacted us yet again this morning and a staff member answered the call with a plain "hello".

It was after I spoke to the female that I found out they are trying to sell solar and pushed very heavily the fact of getting the Government rebate of thousand's of dollars.

Told her we lease all our premises and we have our own generator.

She said thanks and hung up.

Recieved a few calls from the above number, when you answer it - it just goes dead; ie they hang up. Having a landline with caller display helps to stop this crap, but as a buisness we answer all calls.

Keeps calling my work phone at least once a day if not more and hanging up. I tried calling back and the number is busy! This is really annoying how do we stop this?

Keep getting this annoying phone call from this number. Hope ASIO get them before I do...ggrrrr

Still happening. Several times a week over the last few weeks.

I get calls two or three times a day when I answer it it disconnects when I try to ring back it says the number is unavailable getting really annoying been happening for weeks now driving me crazy

ASIO are tracking this one as a possible covert annoyance call to infuriate the general public.

Same thing happens to me as everyone else but I did have someone talk once but would not leave message said they would call back but when they do it hangs up as soon as i answer the phone. thought it was something to do with up town group a property co, but don't know for sure

Probably harvesting valid emails and mobile numbers to sell to telemarketing companies. For every viable number they provide, they get approximately $16.  Well worth one or two quick hang up calls.  Unfortunately, there's not much you can do.

I'd been getting calls for about a week, same problem as everyone else, no one there, and disconnected when I call back. This time, I answered and got a guy asking me about a desk I had posted on the Trading Post website. He offered to transfer the ad to his site for free, to increase my chance of selling it. I can't remember the name of the site he is from tho.

I get a call from this number VERY DAY!!!!! It's time wasting and very annoying.

Stop calling, this pest calls three to four times a day without answering we will find you

have had 8 calls from this number today at work.there is silence for 12 seconds then dial tone

Go do another Google search and you will find all/most of the search sites that WERE on Google have now disappeared and there is only a couple of sites left to go to for checking this number. This means this person/s are really computer geniuses. Perhaps they are the same people that messed up the NAB computer system. Wish I was that clever!!!!!!
