Caller: It's a scam.

Claims to be from optus. They're not. Block then and move on.

has called me 3 times in the past week. haven't picked it up but have called back. says it was optus. thinking of blocking the number

They have called me a few times and it is quite scary cause I don't know wether to answer it not and how did they get my number? Don't answer👎🏻

I had the same experience they are calling every day at around the same time. I am also not an Optus customer, other than my telco uses the Optus network. When I called the number back I get a recorded voice giving me other numbers I could possibly call. Has the feel of spam.

I had a missed call from this number and it was from Optus. I'm not with them so I figure it was a 'cold call' to try and sell me their service.

strange conclusion. Not that "obvious". Could be they sold you the service, hence they have your number

Got brand new service about 4 weeks ago, missed call from this number.

Nobody knows this number so its obvious they are trying every number incrementing by one.
