I called back number (02) 8049 0832 reached IVR for a company called Optus.

i tto recieved a call from them they were saying they could give me a better deal and suggested a more expensive one and get a new phone but i f*cking buy my phones outright so i tell him that and he says he can make my $30 prepaid ultimate cost $20 but when i asked about if data rolls over he said no it doesnt so i tell him if data aint rollin over im not interested then his reply was "OK BYE" and he hang up

It is Optus but a VM service so you prob can’t call back. They left a msg saying I owe money.. which I do. So google Optus and ring their normal number and ask about your account. Don’t ignore it as you may get disconnected if you are with Optus and owe money

It is gutless call centre staff offshore calling on behalf of Optus who are too useless to talk

If they think there';s a chance it might be a hard call they just stay on the line as long as possible so their dialler stats show they have completed a call.

Optus pays these outsourcing centres based on call connection..then based on meeting a minimum time on the call.

I called them 2 days ago about the fact I've apparently been paying double for Mobile phone and Internet for about 2 years...and they balmed me for not looking at their ads and calling to get a lower rate. Absolutely absurd. Shame on you Optus and for the Australian Governemnt letting big foreign businesses take money for nothing then accuse the consumer of being at fault for paying more than they should

They Collected my name from my answer machine and then continued to ring me.

They keep callin and they ask to speak to "my company name"
apparently we owe money to an electricity company,
I rang that electricity company
they say nothing is owing.

they also keep sending messigaes to pay 70% discount for a bill that does not exist.

Assclowns called me 4 times today, didn't bother answering.
