I have received at least two calls a day from this number for the past week.  If I answer, and say nothing, the call stays connected.  As soon as I say hello, they hang up.  I called back once and it told me it was a hosted call centre and that I may be contacted in the future.

Will be taking this matter further!!

Have been getting phone calls from this number all day - same issue as everyone else, when I answer there's no-one on the other end of the line, the phone then disconnects.Same phone number rang back early this evening - it was the Institute for Deaf & Blind Children - wanting donations. Seems they use an auto-dialler.... thought those things were illegal?!

We've been getting calls from this number at the same time every night for the past week.  We've called the number back only to find out it is a hosted service and we may be called at any time in the future.  Whenever we answer the call, we get silence and the other end hangs up after a few seconds.  We are also on the DO NOT CALL REGISTER.Will be taking this further.

Have been contacted by this number as well as (02) 9868 8300. Started about 3 months ago when I answered a call from the number above and agreed to donate / purchase an NRMA Careflight bear. Ever since, whenver I get home there is always a missed call from one of these numbers. After a while it has also started on the weekend. I would expect to be contacted say a year later but this spamming has made me determined not to support this charity again.

I have researched on the net and found this press release on callcentres.net "Unity4 Teleservices Pty Ltd (Unity4) is pleased to announce that it has been selected to conduct all outbound telemarketing requirements for NRMA CareFlight." So even if you are on the do not call register and they are calling on behalf of a charity they are exempt for that call.

They have a web site here www.unity4.com, the reason why when you call back that you get the 'hosted call centre' message is that their employees work from home using the company's web based sytem (hosted).

Two options that I see, use the company's web page for their contacts and ask them to remove you from ALL of their databases. The other option if you know the charity they are calling on behalf of is to lodge a complaint with the charity, making it clear that the telemarketing company is contributing to a negative image of that charity.

just got a call from the same number, he was selling care flight teddies, (care flight based at Westmead Childrens Hospital)...told a lie and told him I already had one..he sounded puxzzled, I dont think he had heard that brush off before.call centre
