I wish these spammers would give up.

I know the same thing has happened to me and it is starting to get me relay angry! its disturbing me when I work. I want a stop to it! When I ring it back they don't even have the decency to have a receptionist at the end of the line to listen to you complaints just a recording. So unfair!

I have had this number ring me twice, once last week and once today. Both times they have rung my mobile around lunch time. I have not answered either of the calls and have not tried to call back. Are they only calling mobiles or are they calling landlines as well?

I had the same thing happen to me earlier tonight and after I greeted the caller a few times the telephone connection was terminated.

Maybe the call is suppose to be serious and they are dialling numbers at random to get a complaint lodged so that the location from where the calls are being initiated from is visited and searched.

Have been contacted by this number as well as (02) 9868 8300. Started about 3 months ago when I answered a call from the number above and agreed to donate / purchase an NRMA Careflight bear. Ever since, whenver I get home there is always a missed call from one of these numbers. After a while it has also started on the weekend. I would expect to be contacted say a year later but this spamming has made me determined not to support this charity again.

I have researched on the net and found this press release on callcentres.net "Unity4 Teleservices Pty Ltd (Unity4) is pleased to announce that it has been selected to conduct all outbound telemarketing requirements for NRMA CareFlight." So even if you are on the do not call register and they are calling on behalf of a charity they are exempt for that call.

They have a web site here www.unity4.com, the reason why when you call back that you get the 'hosted call centre' message is that their employees work from home using the company's web based sytem (hosted).

Two options that I see, use the company's web page for their contacts and ask them to remove you from ALL of their databases. The other option if you know the charity they are calling on behalf of is to lodge a complaint with the charity, making it clear that the telemarketing company is contributing to a negative image of that charity.
