I am getting at least 8 to 10 calls a day, they called yesterday until after 8pm, first calls are usually about 8am and I had 3 calls one after the other no one on the line I always answer with Hello and say twice then hang up. I find it hard as I am physically handicapped and have to walk to the phone to answer it, who can I sue if I fall and hurt myself ha! ha!

If these callers are legitimate and would simply leave a message then all this would bad publicity would stop. I have no idea who they are so best thing to do is assume they are scammers. Blocked.

Caller: Citibank Receive multiple missed phone calls from this number no message left. When i answered they said it was Citibank and the call was being recorded for coaching purposes etc, I said I would speak to them but did not want the call recorded or monitored. she said they had to and wanted to identify me, I said I didn't think this call was genuine and hung up. As I do have a Citibank credit card, I phoned Citibank and they said there was no record of them calling me.

Caller: Citibank behalf of coles Mastercard This number has rang me non stop. One particular day, there was 8 missed calls but no message left. I figured that it may have been behalf of my coles Mastercard… but reason was that my credit card was $5.85 overdue. Why on earth do they think it is ok to continually keep calling for $5.85 with no message left. If they had left a message would have made the situation so much easier without feeling harassed. I work full time & they called 8 times in one day - I got some funny looks during a meeting when my phone rang 3 times within an hour. So unfair.

I got a call from this number once a day for 2 days in a row. I did answer but no sound or nothing just for a while then hang up, so the second time I answer but say nothing, and the same they just hang up So I come to check on this website and I agree with the other comment as my credit card "Coles Master" was overdue, so it's made me think that should be it.

several calls in a week, answering without speaking makes them hang up. Only once did I hear a voice for about a second. No messges left from this number so obviously a scam call.

Caller: CITIBANK It is a legimate number, but you can't call it back. Failing to answer won't make the bill go away. :-)

Picked up phone, message voice said 'this is citibank, hold the line and an operator will be with you shortly -[ backgound noise of call centre chatter - oops :) ] then; all our agents are busy so we will call you later" I should mention that the first call had 'number unknown' on the readout - the second time was the number here and I didn't answer anyway, I let it ring out to the message machine. What's interesting is I have an VOIP number and only a very, very, short list of people have this number [ remember a VOIP number can be anywhere on the globe ]. conclusion - someone who has this number has 1. been hacked 2. has deliberatly sold a list of numbers to these scammers. I will be compilling a list very soon of every company or person that has my VOIP number and I can assure you that list is small so the offender will be investigated.

Don't think it is Citibank or any other legitimate finacial provider. It calls up to 5 or more times per day and have tried to call back to give them a serve but the number is always busy. Repeat callers from the same number should be blacklisted by phone companies and their Service should be disconnected.
