Apparently out to arrest me, need to call the number back. Live on the gold coast however number is a NSW number

Someone scamming and claiming to be from 'Services Australia'.

My tax number had been suspended and the federal police were about to arrest me if I didn't something something. I needed to call someone else to find out what the case was about that I am guilty of and all that good sh*t. Didn't listen through the whole call, was robo call, assumed it was bollocks and went back to worrying about my dwindling bog roll supply.

Called saying they were going to arrest me for tax evasion and if I didn't hold the line they would have a warrant for my arrest immediately.

Sounds like a scare tactic for scams

Apparently Federal Police - had name and no other details . Asking questions about postcode etc. Hung up . Scam

scammer, claiming to be from ATO.

Automated voice message threatening imprisonment.

saying your tax identity in Australia has been cancelled

Out to arrest me and my tax file nr suspended then transferred to a woman who wanted my full name to identify me. once I provided my name the phone cal dropped. I think it is an attempt to match phone nr with names and then to compile a list and sell it.

They said i could be arrested at any moment !

sounded dodgy to me so i hung up

Called and said I was a drug dealer and money laundering. Scam for sure

Got the "out to arrest" me auto dialler call

Got a call from the same number, nothing heard on the other end , so i hung up. I called back they said they were Service Australia ? They asked for my name , i said no , they hung up on me LOL ...

As comment above, recorded message telling me my tax number has been suspended and if I don't call back or press "1" I'll get arrested. Lucky that I'm an ex-UK pensioner, now non working 'senior' Australian resident who's never had an Australian tax number!

Left voicemail, but it was "all our agents are busy". Spam.

Has my tax details. Need to call a number to avoid getting the arrested.
