(02) 8015 2000 call comes from Germany says they are from Aldi

regarding my account - NOT a scam

I got a couple calls from this number and searched online, and found this thread.

Anonymous Post from August 1 2024 said this was from Aldi (A Supermarket chain from Australia)
This seems to be legit, I recently filed a complaint with them about a Sim card I bought (they also provide Mobile plans) and found an SMS in my phone prior to the phone call that said:

Note ID: ######
Hi from ALDImobile,
We will soon attempt to contact you regarding a complaint you have logged. Please note that our call may appear as an international phone number.

It ids possible that the number may be used by different organizations to forward calls from call centers, but depending on the case, this number appears t be legit at the time of this post.
(Still be cautious though, and do not provide information for alleged services you do not have, always ask "them" to provide you with the information, never give it yourself)
